Diana Bilby – Tutor
Experience: Columbia College of Business Graduate, H.R. Office Administration, Homeschool Parent for 8 years.
Diana has been married to her childhood sweetheart, the love of her life, for 30 years! They have two wonderful children, both are married to beautiful people, are loved deeply and all live in the area! Her favorite pasttime is being a Grammy to her two adored grandbabies who were born two months apart!
When her son was in the second grade, she and her husband felt it would be best to hold him back a grade level but was told that it would not be good for him “socially.” The decision to homeschool was made with a lot of hesitation. They joined a program named, HomeLink, that helped with tools for learning. Diana worked through a large learning curve to become the homeschool mom that she desired to be. In the end, both of her children ended up graduating from college, Kenton with a Bachelor in Psychology and Meagan with a Master in Teaching.
David and Diana started a local non-profit organization 15 years ago. Their focus has been serving the homeless community in way one or another. One of the programs they started was a housing program for high school seniors experiencing homelessness, placing the student into a volunteer host home while they work to graduate.
