Dyslexia Simulation

“Walk a Mile in My Shoes”

Whether you are a parent or a teacher, this event is for you.

This interactive session will immerse you in the sights and sounds and the tactile challenges of a student with dyslexia through full audience participation in 5 separate activities. Everyone will play an active part in each of the learning scenarios.

Following the introduction the audience will be divided into groups and will rotate through the 5 activities; during the exercises each person will experience first-hand the daily learning challenges facing the students who learn differently. The simulation will be followed by a brief overview of dyslexia.
